<text>The reconstruction, which consists in « building again (what was demolished) », in « doing again » or in « restoring », upsets the urban fabric. Does it question the identity of places? Is it accepted by inhabitants? In Uzbekistan, precolonial neighbourhoods, eski chahar (« old town », in Uzbek), are gradually reconstructed by authorities, attached to rebuild or to restore disappeared monuments. This process is based on economic, political or religious logics. Although the historic authenticity of sites is flouted, the inhabitants don’t question this process: the identity of places isn’t necessarly linked to the bricks of buildings. On the contrary: henceforth, the town becomes a decor and is shaped to correspond to a mythical image of Tashkent and Bukhara.</text>

<text>Considering the "orders of simulacrum" (Baudrillard, 1991), the crisis that affects our sensorial experience and taking into consideration what type of student (architect by training) we want to train and develop nowadays, this article lends itself to present a didactic experience in two schools of architecture in Brazil. Our goal is to present some responses revealed by the role of kinesthetic (movement) and synesthesia (sense) in the understanding of the world and different relationships that come about with the operation of body experience in the "measurement" of a design product. We concluded that no visible approach, bet it immediate or not, can substitute the relations of body movement, and more, that experience is the basis for the work of interpreting all built worlds, which in turn produce differentiated energetic atmospheres.</text>
