</text>

<text>Health data may be located and their spatial organization detected thanks to the Geographic Information System technologies. In fact, the GIS applications in the health sector multiplied in the nineties and are booming today. Data spatial analysis indeed enables geographers and health professionals to have a new approach towards medical phenomena in their geographical context. The health GIS recent use brings major interests in epidemiology and the care system study, but it has limitations and constraints, the medical data hardly ever being collected at the beginning to be integrated in a GIS. The example of a GIS creation to study parasitic diseases in Mbandjock in Cameroon makes it possible to illustrate the interest and the limitations of GIS to analyse complex data resulting from very different sources. Districts of this city which owes its growth to the establishment of a sugar industry in the sixties show important disparities of parasitic situations, that the use of GIS may help to specify or explain. </text>

</text>

<text>Previous research done in the context of a PhD dissertation showed how gaining access to property in outer suburban areas can prove to be disappointing, even painful, to lower-middle-class families living on one income. The study highlighted a major gap between the aspirations of the middle class and the reality witnessed on the ground, a gap that often brought about a feeling of being stalled in life. The study is reexamined in this paper through an analysis of three suburban housing sectors. This contribution thus highlights growingly complex lifestyles tantamount to a recomposition of suburban societies. The influence of life experience and individual logics is shown through the limits and potentialities of the suburban experience as well as the integrative strength of suburban housing. Relations do emerge, however, in that as in previous surveys those with a low income also face more problems when settling in suburban areas. More generally, this reanalysis allows questioning anew both the evolution of suburban spaces –  most notably those that, at some point, face stigma, precariousness and depreciation – and the role played by such spaces in reshaping metropolitan areas, particularly in terms of city-suburb relations. </text>

</text>

The rapidity with which the Chinese transitions have taken place has provoked an intensification of inner migrations in China. Migrants have developed intracontinental multimobilities, that is successive mobilities from rural labour markets to urban labour markets and vice versa. Therefore, the image of the migrant has become the symbol in which to understand not only the processes of reconfiguration and segmentation of labour markets but also more generally the question of resistance of the Chinese society. The processes of socialisation of the migrants inform on a variety of forms of affiliation and social and economic distancing specific to the Chinese society. The migrant appears to be a socially disqualified individual agent, object of domination but also capable of circulation, action and mobilisation. </text>

</text>

<text>Claire Roullet-Sureau, What answers for “urban disorder” in the Orge Valley? This article addresses the question of urban landscapes on a ground that combines the problematics of the Parisian suburbs and non state-owned rivers, the surroundings of which often underwent uncontrolled urbanisation. The lack of an all-encompassing, coherent project for these spaces led to blatant urban disorder, meaning an apparently random juxtaposition of forms and functions, especially complex in peripheral urban spaces. This article aims not only to understand which form the extension of the city may take in a context of rapid urban growth, but also the ways of perception of such a territory and the pertaining constraints. Our primary hypothesis lies in the necessity to implement tools of territorial management allowing to make landscapes emerge by modifying their morphology and providing accesses and elements of comprehension. In such a frame, the river may appear as a way to read an relate territories. </text>
