En s&amp;rsquo;appuyant sur l&amp;rsquo;enqu&amp;ecirc;te &amp;quot;Conditions de vie et Aspirations&amp;quot; du Cr&amp;eacute;doc, ce travail montre que la hausse des d&amp;eacute;penses de logement retentit sur les conditions de vie de la population.&lt;/div&gt; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt; Tout d&amp;rsquo;abord, l&amp;rsquo;augmentation des prix du logement a op&amp;eacute;r&amp;eacute; une modification en profondeur du profil des habitants des diff&amp;eacute;rents parcs d&amp;rsquo;habitat. Le parc locatif accueille de plus en plus des m&amp;eacute;nages jeunes, c&amp;eacute;libataires, ayant des revenus modestes. Deuxi&amp;egrave;me cons&amp;eacute;quence : les d&amp;eacute;penses de logement empi&amp;egrave;tent progressivement sur les autres postes de la consommation et en particulier sur l&amp;rsquo;alimentation, les transports, les loisirs et l&amp;rsquo;&amp;eacute;quipement du foyer.&lt;/div&gt; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt; Au-del&amp;agrave;, de l&amp;rsquo;impact direct sur le pouvoir d&amp;rsquo;achat des m&amp;eacute;nages, l&amp;rsquo;appr&amp;eacute;ciation des biens immobiliers induit un &amp;quot;effet de richesse&amp;quot; : se sentant plus riches (surtout dans les phases de hausse des prix), et plus en s&amp;eacute;curit&amp;eacute; par rapport &amp;agrave; l&amp;rsquo;avenir, les acc&amp;eacute;dants &amp;agrave; la propri&amp;eacute;t&amp;eacute; sont, en moyenne, mieux dot&amp;eacute;s en biens d&amp;rsquo;&amp;eacute;quipement&lt;/div&gt; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt; Mais les difficult&amp;eacute;s financi&amp;egrave;res rencontr&amp;eacute;es par nos concitoyens en mati&amp;egrave;re de logement se r&amp;eacute;percutent dans des dimensions qui semblent, &amp;agrave; premi&amp;egrave;re vue, moins &amp;eacute;videntes. Elles semblent peu &amp;agrave; peu affecter &amp;eacute;galement le moral des m&amp;eacute;nages, leur &amp;eacute;tat de sant&amp;eacute;, ou leur capacit&amp;eacute; &amp;agrave; maintenir le lien social.&lt;/div&gt; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt; Au total, l&amp;rsquo;appr&amp;eacute;ciation de la valeur des logements ces quinze derni&amp;egrave;res ann&amp;eacute;es a eu pour cons&amp;eacute;quence de creuser le foss&amp;eacute; entre, d&amp;rsquo;un c&amp;ocirc;t&amp;eacute;, les propri&amp;eacute;taires qui se sentent de plus en plus &amp;agrave; l&amp;rsquo;abri, et les locataires qui se sentent de plus en plus vuln&amp;eacute;rables et d&amp;eacute;class&amp;eacute;s socialement.&lt;/div&gt; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt; Ces r&amp;eacute;sultats invitent &amp;agrave; introduire plus souvent le logement &amp;mdash; et plus g&amp;eacute;n&amp;eacute;ralement les &amp;eacute;l&amp;eacute;ments de patrimoine &amp;mdash; comme variables explicatives des disparit&amp;eacute;s de conditions de vie et d&amp;rsquo;opinion.
