Planning Perspectives is an international peer-reviewed journal of history, planning and the built environment, publishing historical and prospective articles on aspects of city development anywhere in the world. Subjects covered link the interest of those working in architecture and planning; economic, social and political history; historical geography and historical sociology with those in the applied fields of public health, housing, environmental heritage and conservation, architecture and planning. Papers linking these topics to city development from within a historical framework are encouraged.
