The Transforming Auckland: Innovations for Sustainable Cities Thematic Research Initiative (TRI) hosted a very successful Research Symposium. Over two days international and local researchers examined some of the major issues faced by cities in their transformation towards sustainable, resilient futures.

Linda Williams is Associate Professor of Art, Environment and Cultural Studies in the School of Art at RMIT University where she leads a research group on the arts and environmental sustainability. Along with her work as a widely published art critic, she has published in the field of the history of culture and science, philosophy and critical theory, and is an active member of the Globalization and Culture project in the Global Cities Research Institute at RMIT.
