We are in the middle of one of Gotham's greatest immigration waves, triggered by the 1965 immigration law. Our distinguished panelists will analyze how the newcomers have experienced, and transformed, the city.
Nancy Foner is Distinguished Professor of Sociology at Hunter College and the Graduate Center, City University of New York.
John Mollenkopf is the Director of the Center for Urban Research and a Distinguished Professor of Political Science and Sociology at the Graduate Center, City University of New York.
